Why Pay Sydney, NS Case Processing Centre Staff?
Reunification of family is an objective of the Immigration Act. Putting loving couples together as per A 3 (1) (d) is how the Immigration Act is to be applied. IRPA section 3 (1) (f) refers to prompt processing. With all the travel restrictions, lockdowns etc. around the world there must be far fewer overseas spousal sponsorship applications submitted to Sydney, NS case processing centre.
Are the Sydeny NS CPC staff deserving of their paychecks during this pandemic?
Logic dictates that during this pandemic there has to be far fewer foreign marriages to process at the Sydney, Nova Scotia case processing centre. Nova Scotia has the lowest COVID-19 infection rate of any Canadian province. In all of Cape Briton Island where the town of Sydney is located as of Feb. 25th 2021 they have only two COVID-19 infected persons. IRCC can’t use the excuse they are working with less staff in Sydney, NS with only two infections in all of the eastern region of Nova Scotia.
I received an email on February 25th, 2021 at 17:45 hrs that stated Sydney CPC received our clients outland spousal sponsorship application on January 29th 2021. The time that email was sent from Sydney NS was 18:45 hours hence the staff of the CPC are getting paid overtime. WHY?
Why are my overseas spousal clients being charged processing fees when these staff members are working so slowly.
Why would it take 28 days to screen an overseas spousal sponsorship application to assess whether or not all the required documnets were included with the application?
WHAT HAVE THESE SYDNEY, CPC STAFF BEEN DOING FOR THE LAST 28 DAYS?
