SHOULD YOU HIRE SOMEONE FOR IMMIGRATION ADVICE?
The answer to that question depends on many factors. The most important factors to consider is which application are you planning to submit to IRCC. How important is it for you to be approved? How much time can you afford to lose if the whole application is returned to you because something was missing? What will be the savings if you submitted your own application?

A 64-year-old farmer who had never travelled outside his country had applied for a Canadian visitor visa to visit his brother in Canada. He got refused because the Visa Post Officer saw no evidence that he would return to his country of nationality. Live-In-Caregiver on a valid temporary work permit was hired to take care of three children. One day after the kids had been sent off to school her employer took her to his place of business. While standing in the warehouse CBSA came storming in and accused her of working for her employers’ company because they found a time card that had her first name on it. Due to no fault of her own she had to retain Counsel to represent her at an admissibility hearing at the Immigration Division that cost her $$$.
Four times a Canadian daughter tried to sponsor her widower father by herself in the Parent and Grandparent lottery with no success.
