Reputation is worth more than $$$$$

Everyday I receive messages on Linkedin like this from people telling me how much money they can make me. For one reason or another they neglect to say how much money they would be charging the clients they bring to me.

Is the reason they approach me to do a deal to rip off their own fellow countrymen is that they need someone with an excellent reputation to achieve their dastardly plan?
