Don;t hire a RCIC because…….

they are members of a regulatory body.

  • Would you hire an electrician who took a six month on-line course to become regulated?

  • Would you hire a plumber who took a six month on-line course to become regulated?

  • Would you hire a nurse who took a six month on-line course to become regulated?

I doubt you would hire any electrician, plumber or even a nurse just because they are in a regulated occupation so don’t do that with someone who claims they are a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC).

Before retaining a RCIC you need to conduct sufficent due dilligence into the quality of any regulatory body that regulates RCIC’s. What does other professionals in the same industry think of RCIC regulatory body. Have there been negative or positive media reports about the quality of the RCIC regulatory body?

Before retaining a RCIC you need to conduct research into when they became regulated. How much experience they have obtained in resolving a similair issues with Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship, Canada (IRCC). Whether they have ever represented a client infront of any of the 4 divisions of the IRB.

You would ask references of any electrician, plumber or nurse you were going to retain so do the same for any RCIC.

Why risking having your application refused by IRCC before conducting your own due dilligence.

Understand an electrician, plumber and a nurse would never call themselves an “EXPERT” so don’t trust an RCIC who calls himself or herself an “EXPERT!
