Canadian recorvery from COVID-19 = Immigration?
Which is the safest approach during COVID-19? Bring in foreigners from abroad or allow foreigners already established here to gain permanent residents? Not all new Express Entry Immigrants can easily establish themselves in Canada or even enter Canada. Why should those abroad who got an ITA pay processing fees to come to Canada with no guarantee they will be even allowed into Canada? Which group of potential migrants will be more acceptable to opposition parties during a minority government? Which group will make the most common sense to the average Canadian?
On Wednesday November 4th 2020 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government is trying a new tactic to mitigate the economic damage from a dramatic drop in immigration: persuade foreigners already in the country to stay. WAIT - IS THIS NEW TACTIC REAL?
Could this new tactic just be a way to get the opposition parties off the backs of a minority Liberal government? Why do Canadian politicians announce a NEW TATIC and then introduce nothing? Could this NEW TACTIC be away to prevent those already in Canada to stop protesting in the streets about an unfair Immigration System?

The first was for only CAREGIVERS! To apply those eligble, had only three months from July 08th to October 08th 2020 to even apply! Why only three months?

The eligibility requirements required those applying to have a CLB-5 language skill. All acceptable IRCC Language Testing Centres had to close. No one could even book a test. All Educational Credential Assessment Centres were closed so applicants could not submit their ECA assessments.

Applicants were restricted to only those that had made an asylum claim before March 13th, 2020. WHAT ABOUT ALL THE FOREIGNERS ON OPEN WORK PERMITS WORKING IN HEALTHCARE?
Demonstrate 6 months of experience in the designated occupation! WHY ONLY GIVE APPLICANTS WHO STEPPED UP TO HELP CANADIAN SENIORS UNTIL AUGUST 31ST, 2020 TO GAIN SUFFICENT EXPERIENCE?
Were issued a work permit after they made a claim for asylum! WHY RESTRICT IT TO ONLY THOSE THAT HAVE MADE AN ASYLUM CLAIM, DOES NOT CANADA NEED HEATHCARE WORKERS WILLING TO RISK THEIR LIVES DURING THIS PANDEMIC?
Why increase the designated occupations to orderlies, nurses, nurses’ aides and patient service associates, assistant orderlies and certain home support workers instead of just caregivers? THEN RESTRICT APPLICANTS TO ONLY THOSE WHO OBTAINED A TWP AND MADE AN ASYLUM CLAIM BEFORE MARCH 13TH, 2020?
WHERE ARE THE PPLICATION PACKAGES CONNECTED TO THIS NEWS RELEASE?
Either Canada needs caring healthcare workers during this pandemic, or we don’t! Why restrict applicants willing to pay processing fees of $550.00 per every adult? Canada is down 172,731 temporary residents in the first six months of 2020 compared to 2019. That would equate to more than 95 million in just application fees not counting spouses or dependents nor RPRF Right of Permanent Residency Fees.
WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE FOREIGN STUDENTS WHO HAD THEIR EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES CLOSED? WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE FOREIGN WORKERS WHO HAD THEIR COMPANIES GO BANKRUPT? WHAT ABOUT ALL THOSE FAILED ASYLUM CLAIMANTS THAT CBSA COULD NOT REMOVE? WHAT ABOUT ALL THOS VISITORS TO CANADA THAT JUST STAYED AND WORKED FOR CASH WITH NO TWP?
