Our client, 11 years Out of Status!
Yesterday I waited in the parking lot of 6900 Airport Rd. Entrance 93 (Removals Unit) for more than an hour. I saw more than 200 people show up to report or attend interviews with CBSA Officers. No one other than our client was represented by anyone. Some had to be arrested and detained because friends came out crying. While waiting I saw SUV’s and Vans filled with people going into the facility and coming out empty. I was shocked to see how agressive the CBSA Officers seemed to be enforcing removals from Canada during the sixth wave.
Where are all the RCIC’s that could be representing these clients that are in need?
Our client had a valid removal order in place, she no showed when told to go to the airport and leave, she had been working for cash without authorization for years, only when she met the man of her dreams and fell in love did she submit an application to remain in Canada. Her Inland Spousal Application submitted by us was so clearly obvious to be genuine that immigration officers informed her that she must attend a CBSA Office to have her arrest warrant executed before IRCC could proceed further with her application for landing from within Canada. Our client was released on terms and conditions.
